Historic House Markers

Homeowners can celebrate Rye history by participating in our Historic House Marker Program. It celebrates our town’s historic architecture. This program is not tied to City of Rye, State or Federal landmark laws or historic designations, and it does not limit home renovations. If your home was built before 1942, the year Rye became a city, you can purchase a bronze marker to be placed on your home.
