Research Requests

Members of the public are welcome to use the Knapp House Archives for research purposes during hours of operation, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM. Advance notice of a visit is helpful but not mandatory. Please contact Richard Hourahan, the Rye Historical Society Archivist, at 914-967-8657 or email rhourahan@ryehistoricalsociety.org regarding your visit. In addition, Mr. Hourahan is available to conduct historical or genealogical research on specific topics for an hourly fee. Please contact Mr. Hourahan to discuss your research needs.
